Important Information for Opening
an Account or Changing Terms of an
Existing Account
To help our government fight the funding
of terrorism and money laundering
activities, Federal law requires all
financial institutions to obtain,
verify and record information that
identifies each person who opens an
account.
What this means for you: When
you open an account, we will ask for
documents verifying your name, address,
date of birth and taxpayer identification
number. Types of acceptable documents;
as long as they include a photograph,
can be a current state driver's license,
current state-issued identification
card or current military identification
along with a social security card.
