Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Trico Community Federal Credit Union. We hope that you will find that all of your financial needs will be met here and we look forward to doing business with you. Listed below are the first few steps to becoming a member.
Step 1: Membership Eligibility
Anyone who lives, worships, works or attends school in Lewis & Clark, Broadwater and Jefferson County may apply for membership. Family members of anyone who meets the requirements above is also eligibile.
Step 2: Membership Application
If you are interested in opeing an account, you may fill out the application online and then come into the credit union where one of our Member Service Representatives can further assist you. This application are not intended for children under the age of 13.
Step 3: Come Visit the Credit Union
Once you have completed the application, our staff needs to verify and make copies of your identy.
Below is some very important information for Opening an Account or Changing Terms of an Existing Account:
To help our government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering ativities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verifty and record information that identifies each person who opens an accoun.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for documentation verifying your name, address, date of birth and taxpayer identification number. Types of acceptable documents; as long as they include a photgraph, can be a current state driver's license, current state-issued identification card or current military identification along with a social seciurity card. We also need current proof of physical address (if it is not listed on your driver's licence).
